What is a Well Flow Test?

The ultimate goal of a well flow test is to determine if the well is capable of producing enough water for daily usage. During the test, water is monitored as it flows out out the well and the well's recovery rate is analyzed. From this, the overall flow rate (gallons per minute) and the water pressure can be determined. At Onega & Sons Inspection Services, our Well Flow Test includes:

1. Flow Rate Measurement:

The primary objective of a well flow inspection is to determine the rate at which water is flowing from the well. This is measured in gallons per minute (GPM). Understanding the flow rate helps assess the well's capacity to meet the water demands of the property.
 
2. Pressure Testing:

Pressure testing involves evaluating the water pressure within the well system. Proper pressure is essential for the efficient distribution of water to various points in the property. Inconsistent pressure or low pressure may indicate issues such as pump malfunction or well interference.
